At Alegria Yachting, we offer flexible departure points tailored to your trip type, and chosen sailing area, including marinas in Athens, Aegina, Poros, Epidaurus, or Lavrio (perfect for exploring the Cyclades, weather permitting).

Starting Points Athens & Aegina

Our primary starting points for your sailing adventure are Athens and Aegina. While Athens may seem like the more convenient option, experience has shown us that Aegina is the ideal gateway to Greece’s stunning island world.
Located just a short ferry ride from Athens, Aegina offers several advantages. By starting here, you immediately immerse yourself in the charm of the Greek islands, avoiding the longer and often tiring crossing from Athens. Within just 30 minutes of setting sail, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in a pristine cove, setting the tone for an unforgettable journey.
From Aegina, you’ll have access to a wide range of itinerary options. Whether exploring the picturesque Saronic Gulf or venturing further to the Cyclades or Peloponnese, starting from Aegina simply allows you to more destinations.
Choose Aegina as your starting point for a smoother, more rewarding sailing holiday that maximizes your time in the breathtaking Greek islands.

Note: Our day sailing trips start exclusively from Aegina port town!
